Ravishing Radish hosted a tasting for prospective clients with a Mad Men theme! What a fun way to sample their food, & meet other vendors. We brought the photo booth, and found ourselves in great company!

The fabulously photojournalistic Laurel McConnell had her camera in hand and displayed her phenomenal photographic talents.

The lovely Anne of Floressence Floral Design displayed amazing bouquets of variety and fragrance.

Laying out a fine tabletop was Krisiti of Pedersens.

The New York Cupcake Divas delighted our taste buds with cupcakes galore.

Throughout the evening, we were bopping along to the grooves of Wave Link Music.

For us, kicking it "old school" with other vendors is where its at. For you, if you haven't been to a tasting and sampled the food for your event, you must schedule one. They are a fun way to sample, and a great excuse to get out on the town.

We are getting a lot of requests to see more photos from the weddings. We really wanted to try to get up the "Best Of" for each wedding or event that we are doing, but turns out we are doing so many these days it makes it pretty hard to do. Maybe when the rain returns and we aren't frolicking through the summer we can play catch up. For now, they will be trickling in. But we appreciate your interest and please check back for more visuals.

Q: What does a Victorian mansion, a lawn wedding, and 1920's inspired fashion have in common? A: James & Alicia Loos.

Our friends pulled off a beautiful wedding at the Marshall House in Fort Vancouver. Catching the last bit of summer sunlight and not a cloud in the sky, they had the weather working for them as they sealed their vows on the sun porch as guests viewed from the lawn.

We enjoyed having a whole parlor to play photo booth in, and spent the night pretending we were being hosted by the Great Gatsby. Dreamy wedding, delicious cake, and a great crowd. Congratulations to James & Alicia!

Kadi & Jared

For all the ladies convinced all weddings are complicated, we have witnessed a little seen truth. They are not. If you take a cue from the lovely Ms. Kadi, who pulled it off without a hitch. The ceremony took place with a handful of family and friends during the early evening, and a couple hours later all the guest showed up it was all about a party.

The photo booth got its own room at the beautiful Tibbetts Creek Manor where we kept guests entertained from when the curtain was open, until we had to take it down. It just takes a few people to get it going, and once other guests see the photos in there hand they gravitate to the booth!

Our sincere gratitude to both Kadi & Jared for inviting us to share in their festivities of love.

Rachel and Adam have a thing going. This thing called love. Its enchanting, and powerful, and oh so real. Set at the Center for Urban Horticultural in the heart of the University of Washington, the boy takes girl and becomes husband and wife. Amidst all their soul mates of family and friends. Its a big family, and a lot of love.

The wedding was infused with the olden days of chivalry, decadence, and a splash of chinoiserie. It felt like we were in this place in space and time that couldnt exist anywhere else than there. If that doesnt make sense, guess you had to be there.

We met a lot of fun friends at the party, and thank the bride & groom truly for including us in their very special event.

Lim & Rosie's Reception @ Pravda

"I do." As in, I do love to go to weddings. I do love the fact everyone was wearing hats. I do love lucky bamboo, the modern space at Pravda, & lumpia. I do love that they included lots of kids, had 3 flower girls & wood-fired pizza from Inferno on the street for guests at the after party. I do love an invitation for our our photo booth to share in the celebration. Congratulations to Lim & Rosie. We thank them. For the fact that they said "I do, means I do, too. - MK

Our Photobooth can go anywhere. Pravda Studios on Capitol Hill was a welcomed experience. The civilized NYC feel of a classy loft space decorated simple chic with long tables and green silk ribbons and a view of the surrounding city-scape, Pravda is a great pick for events of all types. The guest book filled up so quick with lots of great strips including 8+ people crowding in the booth for group shots and little fairy flower girls standing on the seat, peering open-eyed into the lens. Plus the weddings fun hat-theme provided its own props, Perfect!-PR

Katie & Nathan's Wedding Celebration

Summer Soirée @ Foss Seaport

Djs filled the great boat hanger with classic hits all night, and quite a few sporadic dance parties broke out in the sea of tables as families and couples enjoyed this yearly event in Tacoma. A private Summer Soiree.

People strolled in from the boardwalk bar and navigated the Maritime Museum’s many interactive exhibits, including a collection of outboard motors, neat old boats, and, my favorite, an interesting exhibit designed to make one experience sea-sickness by enclosing them in a cone of swirling fabric.

We set up right beside the long twirling strips of fabric and enjoyed ushering folks from the spinning exhibit into the photobooth, which I assure you, is more fun than the sea-sickness! It was like we were a part of the museum itself.

Official looking white starched Sailors caps were the prop of the night, and the quote of the night was “Do you want to be the Caption of should I?” cooed by many couples. Maybe a nautical theme prop kit is on the horizon for 321FOTO? Thank you to the lovely Lisa at Event Resources for bringing us on board! Bon Voyage!–PR

Tim & Sarah Baynes

We had the honor of being at the reception of Tim & Sarah Baynes. The cutest down home couple, you ever have met. Seriously, when a girl picks pie for her wedding cake, has bbq for the sit down dinner, and marmalade that she cans herself.... she becomes iconic in my mind.

Now lets get to the guests of the wedding. Friendly, fun, and participating in the love and joy of this special couple. Grandpa on the dance floor, girlies cute as buttons, boys that minded their manners. It was a little slice of Americana in the Pickering Barn.

We also met new friends at One Love Photo. Great husband wife team, manifesting the ethereal into the material through their lenses. See more photos from outside the booth here.

If you want to know the truth, and its beautiful, this wedding was just one of those events that is a gift for us to be at. We thank the lovely bride and her handsome groom for including us.

Seattle P-I

We were invited by the Seattle P-I to attend an event they were throwing for their advertisers and staff at the SAM. What a great space that was for a photo booth. We kept getting asked if it always lives there, and had to explain its our special delivery edition to the P-I. Love that people just assume its something the Seattle Art Museum commissioned. High compliments to our photo booth art!

There were lots of bloggers in the house. I admit getting a little star struck when Ben Huh of "I Can Has Cheeseburger?" showed up. I am such a fan of the failblog & engrish funny sites he runs, and was so excited to tell him so. Just happening by was a full plate of cheeseburgers, and we got this little gem of him. So WIN! for all you failers who get the reference.

What happens when the International Trademark Attorneys convention comes to Seattle? They party. Like, international jet setters do. This means our hosts from Darby & Darby had some serious party planning to do. The ladies of Darby & Darby can seriously throw it down at a convention. Amazing food, beautiful venue in the Grand Lobby of Benaroya Ha ll, and of course... a photo booth.

We want to thank Angela & Lori for bringing us on board, and the fun folks from around the world that graced the photo booth with their presence. There is something universal about getting your picture taken in a photo booth. When you involve a curtain, high profile attorneys morph into some wild and craziness. Its something special folks. Always amazed to be a witness of this beautiful thing we are doing. Its expression, connection, and all around FUN.

Smile Before You Dig

The photo booth made its way this weekend to Port Townsend for the Jeffco Home Show. Our hosts: Underground Utilities Location Center, otherwise known as 811. Which, in turn is the number to Call Before You Dig. Did you know about it? Well, now we know ALL about it - so if you have any questions, we can facilitate a genuine answer on the article.

Surprising us was our mugs gracing the Sunday home page of the local newspaper, with "Smile Before You Dig" and a nice little write up on the 321 Foto photo booth. We were happy and honored to be part of the event, and featured made it feel all the more special. We want to give a special thanks to Don Evans of the UULC for partnering with us, and we look forward to continuing to spread the word in the most glamorous fashion possible.

TASTE WASHINGTON 2009

I know we are just getting started, but can I say right now... the crowd at Taste Washington 2009 is going to be hard to beat for favorites. This group of savvy wine tasting aficionados knows how to party. So does the sponsors and vendors.

Wall to wall, everyone had a great time. The vibe was warm and fuzzy from floor to ceiling and it made being there such a pleasure. We want to give a big shout out to our hosts Seattle Magazine for bringing us into such a wonderful world of food, wine, and fun. We met many interesting people, saw abundance of beautiful photographs, and witnessed the ultimate in transformations. For anyone who came to the booth balking, that they were somehow "not photogenic", left with a photograph that proved otherwise.

Community Transit Employee Fair

Come one! Come ALL! Bus drivers, maintenance, & executives alike: every one LOVED the photo booth. We had a blast at their company party, where the carnival theme had everyone entertained. Who you really are...

Photo booths give us a chance to be a lot of things. Put on a funny face, angle for our best look, using a variety of expressions. The more people in the booth, the more convinced I am that the photo booth has the ability to help us see who we really are. That we are more than one frame, and showing ourselves in more than one image we begin to see the depth of a person.

Most importantly, the photo booth allows people a place to be free to express themselves in ways they otherwise wouldn't. There is an amazing satisfaction when people can let down there guard and not take themselves so seriously. The whole point of a photo booth is to have fun. If you walk away without a smile, you might want to check into that.
